What is Trypophobia? -
Mind Society, There is apparently something called "trypophobia", I had never heard of this before. Happened to google on it and got up more horrible holes images, I change my mind. So Trypophobia is a subconscious
fear of holes if I got it right.
Quite really ridiculous but you know you have this
Trypophobia if you look at small holes photos and it starts to itch on the body. You can not stop looking at the pictures and it gets crazy.
Scientists Geoff Cole and Arnold Wilkins claims to be the first people to scientifically examine trypophobia think the reaction of this phobia will be based on a biological disgust, rather than a learned culture of fear. In a research article about
what is Trypophobia they wrote for Psychological Science, They discussed the reaction of Trypophobia is based on a
brain responses that associate the shapes with danger.
The type of characters that elicit a reaction was reported to contain "clustered holes in leather, meat, wood, plants, corals, fungi, molds, dried seed pods and the honeycomb" and observing these characters made people suffering from trypophobia feel "that their skin crawl , shudder, feeling itchy and physically sick. "Some stated reasons behind this fear is that the holes seem "disgusting and gross" or that the victims are afraid that they "can fall into these holes," or that "something can live inside these holes."

Why can wonder? Well, the answer is that one of the researchers had heard a Trypophobia victim who told how his triggered by an encounter with a poisonous octopus. And in the study, researchers found that many poisonous animals bar "visual attributes with high contrast in color scale mid range" - that is, similar patterns to those that provokes fear has.
